Strotmann & Partner - Concrete restorer
Reinforced concrete has been used as a building material for several decades. During this time, a large number of architectural works of art have been created, which are now listed buildings due to their historical significance. In the 1990s, a concept for the restoration of damaged concrete elements was developed for the first time by Strotmann und Partner for the famous pilgrims' houses in Neviges (architect: Gottfried Böhm).
Concrete restoration can be carried out on non-plastered or veneered concrete surfaces (exposed concrete). This substrate is often used for artistic or design work on the object.
With our special patents and lime products, we give old and new concrete objects a flawless and new look.
Our aim is to conserve, maintain and renew the old in an aesthetically pleasing way. We do this by conserving and renewing weathered monumental stone. We do this by keeping water out of the stone and by trying to replace dissolved or lost binders.
