The Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) is a contemporary art museum. All the concrete elements on display inside and out have been reworked and enhanced with concrete cosmetics.

The scope of work related to the exterior and interior spaces, where there were mainly problems with strong colour differences. In addition, all tie holes in the entire building were to be closed. Through partial retouching of the supplemented tie holes, these were visually perfectly adjusted and are no longer visible to the viewer. The partially very dark edges that appeared along the formwork joints were partially retouched or glazed, as was the horizontal dark staining.
Wall of the auditorium. A harmonisation of the colour appearance was desired as well as the removal of the anchor holes.
Partial retouching of areas that were too dark and disruptive casting edges that created horizontal streaks have pushed back unsightly areas. As a result, and thanks to the closed anchor holes, the wall gives a harmonious overall impression.
Example of an exhibition space. The task was to close the tension holes and to gently decimate the dark areas of colour. These were not to disappear, but merely to be softened in intensity. Exposed concrete must not look as if it had been "painted grey" after the concrete cosmetic treatment; the play of colours as well as the grain of the different shades of grey must be preserved.
By partially retouching the added tie holes, they were optically perfectly aligned and no longer visible to the observer. The sometimes very dark edges along the formwork joints were partially retouched or glazed, as was the horizontal dark staining. Care was taken to soften the dark areas, but not to make them completely unrecognisable. The formwork joints were also treated discreetly, as they are an important design element in the exposed concrete and must remain visible.
