The whitewashed interior is illuminated by impressive stained-glass windows by the artist R. Krügerest. They depict biblical scenes to the south and the seven stations of the cross to the north. The church was built between 1962 and 1964 by architects Theo Burlage and Bernhard Niebuer. Strotmann & Partner are currently restoring the exterior concrete facades.
